Sand Giant Farming
I can take on 6 at a time with this build, but it's hectic. You can clear this Zone with this build too.
Equipment:
Glads with Ascalon Helm
Superior Vigor
Superior Tactics
Superior Absorption
Minor Sword (makes no difference)
Minor Strength
Weapon:
Pommel of Enchanting on your Sword
Any -2 enchanted shield/-2 Stance Shield
Attribute points:
Healing at 8
Tactics at 14
Smiting at 12
Skills
Mending
Healing Breeze
Healing Signet
Balanced Stance
Riposte
Deadly Riposte/Thrill of Victory
Balthazar's Spirit
Shield of Judgment
How it works:
Well, you can pretty much figure that out DO NOT USE DEADLY RIPOSTE ON SAND GIANTS! Ok, do when you know you can spike one to it's death. If you mess up, get ready for you to be bleeding when they put it back on you. You can kill everything out here with this build save a mob of Jade Scarabs. Two Jade's you can hangle with spamming of the healing spells. Rock Eater Scarabs are melee only so they take it on the chin from the build quite nicely. Griffon's, yep. Enchanted, yep. Rockshot's, yep. Wurms, yep. Losaru, Yep...er...need ToV to kill the Lifebrand, watch his Reversal of Fortune though.
You can use this build to farm The Scar, leaving from Destiny's Gorge and Vultrue Drifts leaving from Hero's Audience or Dunes of Despair...and work your way to the Southern entrance to The Arid Sea and then farm there. You can even then work your way back to Skyward Reach and to Augury Rock. Hydra's should be possible, but without Dolyak, your are going to take a elemental beating. Be aware that in Vulture Drifts, if you see two Sand Giants, the 3rd of that party is a hidden Rockshot. It a not so nice surprise when you are trying to cast...or when that party of 3 turns to a party of 5 with a Rockshot. So don't think, oh, those two walked off...let me get that partol of 3 now...you will remember after you do it once.
The nice thing about the Riposte Skills is that you can use them WHILE you are using another skill...use them during Healing Signet/Healing Breeze all you want. They activate instantly. It is very important to remember this when doing this farm. The massive degen you take from Vile Touch almost requires you to be healing non-stop.
2 Sand Giants is easy. 3 is Easy. 5 not so much.
Flame on.
Next up(but no today) if anyone wants it...FIGHTING solo from Droknars Forge to Beacons Perch - killing Trolls, Arivica Fierce and Brave, Tundra Giants, Azure's, Giant Herders, Pinesoul's, and Grawl.

12 smite....if you were going to do that why o why did you not bring holy strike, speeds up the run nicely, but overall very nice . o yeah other tip , if you put healing at 9
your mending + breeze will be +10 regen , at 8 it would be +9, do not take deadly riposte , they tend to plague touch bleeding righ back at ya.

Well, I'll give Holy Strike a try. Hadn't though of it because Sand Giants don't take a knockdown from SoJ. One SoJ is usually enough to wipe 70% of their health.
I don't usually need Healing Breeze really, Signet is enough most of the time. It's just there for back up...so it's a swapable slot.
And I never Deadly Riposte the Necro's with Plague Touch unless I know I can kill a target with Deadly Riposte + Riposte stack. Their attack rate is slow enough that you can single them out. But yeah, it's a swapable slot.
Thanks for the suggestions

Well, I was debating wether to actually post this farm, but since you have I might as well show my drops
Drop #1
Drop #2
Drop #3
Not bad if I do say so myself.
All from sand giants on my 55. (I can take all 6-8 in less than a minute)
Good layout with the build though.

Sure, just avoid any mesmers (stone summit and avicara) and maybe some bosses and you can cut through all of those types of monsters with a good gladiators defence/shield of justice build.

Not to mention getting to close to the Grawl Crones - Chilblains strips the Enchant.
Dreadnaughts drift is gonna give you Hell as its full of those Heretics.

i can clear almost all of talus chute (trolls, grawl, giants, azures) using all warrior skills (go go warriors!)
And quite alot of snake dance too (griffons, azures, giants, trolls, etc.) with all warrior skills, but as far as Dreadnought's...... idk i haven't tried.
But if i avoided mesmers (degen kinda sucks), i guarantee i could clear Talus/Snake Dance (some bosses included, but not all) using all warrior skills.

i used my 55 monk to go from camp rankor all the way to beach well the tunnel near beach, ran out of time :P, involed killing everything but staying away from heretics there the only things that i found to cause a real problem, Grawl crones are easy to deal with, if u aggro a grawl the crone will walk up to wand distance and only wand u =_=, takes time but works lol, and sometimes involes alot of dying :P

If you can, they are very very few and far between. A buddy and I used to farm the hell out of Sand Giants, until we got sick of trying to sell hammers.
